Helen is an experienced teaching artist who has worked in both English and Spanish for respected educational insitutions and non profits, such as The Neighborhood Playhouse’s Junior School, Manhattan Youth, Fair Playhouse, and Film at Lincoln Center.

Helen's approach to teaching has been shaped by her experiences in rehearsal rooms and on stage. Grounded in ensemble theater making and democratic creative practice, she is passionate about sparking joy and self-confidence in her students, and works to provide them with the tools to foster healthy collaborative relationships in the classroom and beyond. At the heart of her teaching practice is a passion for making theater accessible and inclusive for young people.
